BIOGRAPHIE
Née en Suisse en 1988, j’ai hérité de mon grand-père Walter Bucher la passion pour l’art. La finesse et la précision des gestes, la curiosité des matières, la mise en forme de mes idées m’ont été transmises par mon père, artisan maquettistes au sein de son atelier. Épouse et mère de trois enfants, je partage aujourd’hui mon temps entre ma vie familiale, mes recherches en anthropologie et ma pratique artistique, qui s’exprime à travers la peinture et la sculpture. Les paysages qui m’entourent — qu’il s’agisse du lac de Neuchâtel, où nous vivons, ou des côtes atlantiques bretonnes, que nous parcourons régulièrement — constituent une source d’inspiration profonde pour mon travail. J’y explore la notion de « Nouveaux lointains » à travers mes recherches et la peinture, , invitant l’observateur à réfléchir à la place de l’être humain dans le monde et à l’espérance.
DÉMARCHE ARTISTIQUE
Ma pratique artistique s'enracine dans trois fondements : l'art, l'anthropologie et ma foi vivante en Jésus-Christ. Ensemble, ils nourrissent mon exploration des « nouveaux lointains ». Mon travail interroge la tension entre l’orgueil et l’humilité que l’Homme expérimente dans son existence, qui conditionne son rapport au monde. Loin d’en percevoir une faiblesse, la valorisation que j’accorde à l’humilité de l’Homme a orienté mes lectures vers les récits d’individus sur leur recherche de « nouveaux lointains » en réponse aux nombreuses injonctions sociales qui côtoient leur quotidien. Ces «nouveaux lointains» n’ont plus comme finalité la découverte de territoires géographiques souvent guidée par l’orgueil de vouloir les posséder, mais ils apparaissent dans les récits comme un appel à l’Homme de retrouver une intimité avec la nature, avec une puissance à la fois insondable et perceptible. Ces différentes lectures mettent en lumière un besoin commun de renouer avec l’essence-même de son identité trop souvent dissimulée sous les rôles sociaux et artefacts superflus de notre quotidien.
Mes toiles peintes à l’acrylique témoignent donc de mes lectures et des imaginaires qu’elles invoquent : les déserts et les étendues « silencieuses » de sable, de glace de forêts ou encore d’eau ; les îles fantasmagoriques qui émergent soudainement face à une navigation hasardeuse ; des récits de marins face aux océans qui, par leur imprévisibilité, nourrissent la passion de ces Hommes, ou encore ces territoires circonscrits préservant un imaginaire de pureté comme les derniers rares champs de lavandes en Provence, ou certains lieux sacrés qui portent l’Histoire du Christ.

- Formation artistique ancrée dans une forte tradition familiale auprès de mon grand-père architecte et peintre, et de mon père maquettiste d'architecture.
-Pratique indépendante fondée sur une pratique quotidienne de la peinture, l'étude de l'histoire de l'art et des formations en ligne auprès de Pedro Covo et Diana Buitrago.
-Formation approfondie à la peinture de paysage panoramique auprès de Jean Sablé, Meilleur Ouvrier de France en peinture décorative, à l'École Jean Sablé, Versailles, France.

BIOGRAPHY
Born in Switzerland in 1988, I inherited my passion for art from my grandfather, Walter Bucher. From my father, a model maker with his own workshop, I learned the precision and delicacy of craftsmanship, a curiosity for materials, and the ability to give form to ideas.
As a wife and mother of three, I divide my time between family life, my research in anthropology, and my artistic practice, which encompasses both painting and sculpture. The landscapes that surround me—whether those of Lake Neuchâtel, where we live, or the Breton Atlantic coastline, which we visit regularly—are a profound source of inspiration for my work.
Through both my research and my paintings, I explore the notion of “nouveaux lointains” (new horizons), inviting viewers to reflect on humanity’s place in the world and on the possibility of hope.
STATEMENT
My work explores the tension between pride and humility that human beings experience throughout their lives—a tension that shapes the way they relate to the world. Far from seeing humility as a weakness, I regard it as a profound human strength. This conviction has guided my reading toward the accounts of individuals in search of “nouveaux lointains”, responding to the many social expectations and pressures that permeate everyday life.
These “nouveaux lointains” are no longer about the discovery of geographical territories, often driven by the prideful desire to possess them. Rather, they emerge as a call to rediscover an intimacy with nature, whose power is at once unfathomable and deeply tangible. These narratives reveal a shared longing to reconnect with the very essence of one's identity, so often concealed beneath social roles and the superfluous artifacts of contemporary life.
My acrylic paintings bear witness to these readings and to the imaginary worlds they evoke: deserts and silent expanses of sand, ice, forests, and water; dreamlike islands suddenly appearing before uncertain navigations; the stories of sailors confronting the oceans, whose unpredictability continually fuels their passion; and places whose boundaries preserve an imagination of purity, such as the last remaining lavender fields of Provence or the sacred sites that bear the history of Christ.
Through these landscapes, I invite viewers to contemplate horizons that are not only geographical, but also interior and spiritual—places where humility, wonder, and hope may once again become possible.
